Kim T. Adamson Alumni House

Thank you to all who attended the Grand Opening of the Alumni House on September 19, 2008. It was quite the housewarming party with over 250 alumni, faculty, students, and staff attending the event. If you have not yet had the chance to see the new Alumni House, please come stop by and visit us. Our doors are always open to you!

The 5,000 sq. ft. home features a parlor, two conference rooms, and a great hall providing theatre-style seating for 100 and table seating for about 65 people. The Adamson Alumni House also provides offices for the Alumni and Parent Relations staff and a call center for the Westminster Fund. And of course, the west side patio holds the patio bricks sold through the Paving the Future brick program. Click here to purchase your alumni brick as we want to cover the patio with your Westminster memories!

The facilities of the Adamson Alumni House are available only to members of the Westminster community, which includes Westminster alumni! Please contact Jeff Brown in Conference and Facilities Services, 801-832-2900 to discuss how you or your company may use the Adamson Alumni House space.

A special thanks to the Class of 2005 for their stained glass interpretation of a Westminster crest, to the Class of 2007 for their gift of a fireplace in the new house, and to the Class of 2008 for their gift of trees for the Adamson Alumni House landscaping. A special thank you to The Westminster College Woman's Board for their contribution of purple and gold rose bushes in the Woman's Board Rose Garden to the south of the building as well as projection equipment for the Great Hall.

The Groundbreaking Ceremony for the Kim T. Adamson Alumni House was held on April 23, 2007 on the site of the new home (west of the Dolores Doré Eccles Health Wellness and Athletic Center) on Blaine Avenue. Pictured above right with shovels in their hands are Bing Fang MBA '88, President Michael Bassis, Stacie Lufkin Whitford '92, Gene Barton MBA '86, Kim T.
