11/11 Westminster College and the University of Utah Host Graduate School Fair

More than 60 graduate schools will showcase their programs to the community

SALT LAKE CITY – Westminster College and the University of Utah will host a Graduate School Fair on Nov. 11, 2009, at 10 a.m. in the Behnken Field House in the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center. The fair is free and open to the public.

The fair will host more than 60 graduate schools from across the nation, including Creighton University, Purdue University, Dartmouth College, Ohio State Univesity, Indiana State University, University of Hawaii and Willamette University, as well as graduate programs from Westminster and the UofU. The fair will showcase over 90 graduate programs, including law, medicine, business, nursing and education.

“In this economy, a lot of people are considering going to graduate school for additional training and skills,” said Bev Christy, director of Westminster’s Career Resource Center. “We have partnered with the University of Utah to host this event to give our students and the community at-large an opportunity to meet with schools from across the country and get exposure to the variety of programs offered by all different institutions.”
