Student Health Services (SHS)

Student Health Services is quick, convenient, and affordable access to medical care provided by a Family Nurse Practitioner who can diagnose and treat common health problems. SHS is open Monday through Thursday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM.  SHS is located on the lower level of the Shaw Center.

• All services are confidential.
• SHS charges $10.00 per visit and payment is due at the time of service. Please note that some procedures, treatments, and lab work have an additional charge.
• SHS accepts multiple forms of payment (cash, check, or credit/debit card). However, health insurance is not accepted.  If you would like to bill your insurance independently, just ask the receptionist for a copy of services provided. 
• SHS services are available to current Westminster College students only. Make sure to bring your student ID card with you to your appointment, as service will be refused without it.

The mission of Westminster College's Student Health Services is to provide basic medical care, while promoting and enhancing students' health and well being.  SHS is committed to providing quality, comprehensive, confidential, accessible, and cost-effective health care, health education, and health promotion services that are specifically designed for the unique needs of college students.  We also strive to promote healthy behaviors and lifestyle choices through educational programming on campus.  SHS serves to assist students in the pursuit of their academic goals and personal development consistent with the mission of the College.
