Welcome to the Writing Center!

The Writing Center provides free assistance with writing to all Westminster students, faculty, and staff. When you come to the Writing Center you can expect an individualized session with an experienced writing consultant. Consultants are advanced writers trained to assist you with a wide array of writing issues.

To get the most from your Writing Center visit ...

• Please bring your student ID to the Writing Center
• Come at least two hours before the paper is due. Otherwise, you will not have enough time to receive help on your writing and revise it accordingly.
• Please limit your visits to one per day and two per week for each assignment.
• Come with a sense of what you would like to work on. If you come to the center only to receive credit on an assignment, we will do our best to your experience a meaningful one.

Writing a senior thesis? Come to our Thesis Happy Hours on Fridays 2:00-4:00 PM. Free treats and camaraderie!

Please note that we will be closed from 2:00 to 3:00 PM on October 30 and November 20 for staff training.
